Schlumberger Front End Software Engineer in Houston, Texas

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Angular Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative web applications using Angular framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Angular development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

This position is located in Houston, Texas (Energy Corridor) on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Angular framework.

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implement responsive user interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences across multiple devices and browsers.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend best practices to improve development processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on Angular framework.

Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RxJS, and JavaScript.

Experience with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and other Angular libraries.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, object-oriented design, and design patterns

Have experience in the full development lifecycle.

Working with UX and implementing designs that can be shared across other teams

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
