Schlumberger IT Forensics Analyst in Houston, Texas

IT Forensics Analyst

Will conduct digital forensics using various tools, such as disk analysis tools, image creations, memory forensics, Windows and/or MAC registry analysis, and network analysis, etc. Will focus on identifying, acquiring. processing, analyzing, and reporting on data stored within the focused scopes of each investigation or review. Will also work to ensure protection and defensibility of the process for providing the results to case managers. Moreover, will research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of new artifacts, processes and procedures to improve current work flows to meet these new threats.

Furthermore, as IT Forensics Analyst

Will provide pro-active feedback which will enable improvement of the current discovery and forensics tools, based on information and knowledge/experience from Schlumberger and Industry best practices. Will develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members. Additionally, will demonstrate the ability to drive for creative, innovative ways to solve problem or minimize risk. Will conduct securing of data, logging all tasks of the discovery and forensics process, classification and analysis of these case data, such that all steps are conducted in a consistent and approved manner with legal processes.

Requirements for position include US Citizenship, located in US, active transferable US DoD Secret Clearance. MAC forensics and WIndows forensicsknowledge requested.

eDiscovery and Forensics position located in the US. Knowledge of MAC forensics and Windows forensics requested. Certifications for one or both preferred. Understanding and knowledge of core forensics processes, procedures, and tools, such as FTK Imager, USBDetective, Zimmermann Tools, AXIOM and others preferred. Ability to manage cases in O365 Compliance Center with MS Purview. Understanding of case review platforms such as Relativity and Intella preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or higher with minimum 4 years working experience
