Job Summary:

The Systems Project Coordinators function is to assist and support the Systems Project Director/ Project Manager to execute a contracted Systems Project and to ensure that the three key Project elements; cost, schedule and quality are met.

  • The Systems Project Coordinator is an integral part of to the Systems Project Team along with the Project Director/Manager, Technical Manager/Lead Engineer and Systems Quality Engineer. He/she is the stand in for the Project Director/Manager, when necessary.

  • The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Director/Manager for project related issues and to the PM Group Manager for general job-disciplinary issues. The Systems Project Coordinators tasks require skills of planning, organizing, cost and document controlling, reporting, administrating, interfacing, communicating and implementing project activities.

  • The Systems Project Coordinators role is to support the Project Director or Project Manager. As such, the role has many of the responsibilities of a Project Manager but with the understanding that the Systems Project Coordinator will likely have less experience and knowledge than a full Project Manager.

  • At the Systems Level, works with and supports the Project Director/Manager during the execution phase of a project in all Project Management areas, contributing as required to help achieve project and business objectives, including HSE, Quality, Budget control, schedule and reporting.

  • The Systems Project Coordinator is also directly responsible for coordinating, tracking and expediting certain core execution activities to meet on time delivery particularly with respect to manufacture and assembly.



Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Project Management Essentials (or equivalent) and SIS Project Delivery Management Process / (PDMP) training or equivalent is advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills – To work with a broad range of individuals.

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years with a project management discipline; must also have the appropriate technical knowledge.

  • Successfully assisted management of projects to completion within the agreed upon time, scope and budget, meeting customers & stakeholders expectations.

  • Experience using ERP Systems – SAP experience advantageous.

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
