Job Description :

Lead a small team of technical Cloud Software Engineers and Sustaining staff focused on a subsystem or sub-element of a larger product cloud software development or technology development project. Performs mostly technical tasks plus some supervisory work as required to direct a small team. Plan and supervises a small (typically fewer than 8) team. Work with the Software Program/Project Manager and team members to identify and organize the best approach to executing the tasks required for the project. Ensure that team follows the applicable Product Development Process and adheres to all the relevant Standards and Procedures. Deliver the sub-system or sub-elements in time and at the necessary level of quality to meet the parent project requirements, timeline, and budget. Provide technical documentation from the team that describes proven solutions for the project, including design files, technical drawings, and specifications documents as required by the EMS management system. Monitor and guide good working practices relating to QHSE, technical rigor, professional behavior, and performance of the assigned team. Maintain the necessary level of expertise for self and team through training and development as appropriate for the execution of the project. Set annual objectives and perform regular appraisals of performance for the assigned team.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign educational equivalent, in Computer Science or a closely-related IT field. Must have two years of post-baccalaureate experience as an Analytics Engineer. The two years of experience must include experience with designing and developing systems and services and deploying them in production using repeatable processes on the cloud; implementation of backend services; microservices architecture, development, deployment and testing; RESTful API design and asynchronous and concurrent systems; Agile development; supporting AI tool Dataiku; development of ModelOps APIs; MongoDB Compass; Kubernetes or Docker; Azure DevOps; IDEA IntelliJ; Azure Cloud/Google Cloud Services; Insomnia; GoLang; Python; TypeScript; SQL, NoSQL; PowerShell; and Bash.
