Job Summary:

The Field Service Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation, repair and maintenance of CAMERON Valves and actuation and trouble-shooting situations as required.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide technical supervision and operating support.

  • Install and perform repair and maintenance of valves.

  • Troubleshooting and analyzing problems / issues based on customers communications.

  • Promote the product and service line.

  • Willingness to work rigorous schedule in inclement weather and varying conditions.

  • Drive long distances and travel to remote locations.

  • Follow rigorous safety and procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers.

  • Disassemble and assemble equipment according to detailed specifications.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED along with 4 to 5 years related field experience.

  • Current valid driver’s license with clean background

  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage.

  • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ability

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees.

  • Able to read and understand oral and written instructions

  • Ability to use hand and power tools and work in confined spaces.

  • Able to work extended irregular work hours

  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

  • Ability to obtain TWIC card

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

  • The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

  • At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly range is $24.00 - $28.00.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working with and installing valves, actuation, and instrumentation.

  • Two years + working with Cameron or competitor pressure control equipment preferred.

  • Experience with pressure testing.

  • Experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrician, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or other skilled trades.
