Schlumberger Maintenance Assistant in St. John'S, Canada

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, positive, industrious individual to join our team in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Maintenance Assistants are responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands, and for increasing the utilization and efficiency of assets. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Follow the QHSE policy and procedures.

  • Comply with SLB Technology Lifecycle Management standards.

  • Work under direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.

  • Pre-use inspection on equipment before starting the job.

  • Select proper tooling for the job.

  • Perform low-level, noninvasive maintenance tasks.

  • Communicate process and safety improvements throughout the shop.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.

  • Other duties as required.

Previous experience and competencies

  • Minimum high school education.

  • Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred.

  • Mechanical maintenance experience preferred.

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
