Schlumberger Production Manager in Sugar Land, Texas

Schlumberger Technology Corporation seeks Production Manager to work in Sugarland, Texas.

The position of Production Manager is in charge of the Production team’s tasks for their assigned portfolio. To accomplish this, they are responsible for the following: Plan, schedule,

design and assign work for their team in line with prioritized production schedule. Monitor daily work schedules and ensure they align with the monthly production target. Responsible for

the management of team load, capacity requirements and recruitment of new team members to meet production demands. Provide feedback to Product Line Management. Perform

regular performance appraisals for team members and provide required coaching, training, and development. Provide equipment and supplies needed to ensure efficient, safe and orderly

work progress. Participate in CAPEX projects by identifying production equipment requirements and ensuring project completion as per schedule. Monitor routine preventive maintenance

to minimize downtime by ensuring production team completes required maintenance as per defined frequency. Enable proper training for employees. Ensure that training covers

competencies required for production schedule. Identify improvement opportunities; implement LEAN principles. Monitor and enforce manufacturing, quality, health, safety and

environment (HSE) standards. Implement and monitor key performance indicators for Production, Quality and HSE teams. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Technology or Manufacturing with lean and six sigma, demand planning, production overflow, technical investigation, production

testing, production assembly, and manufacturing resource planning system.
