CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
The CSR performs project management functions and services supporting Customer Service and Sales.
Must have the ability to interpret customer’s technical and commercial documents to ensure the orders to meet both the business’ and the customer’s requirements.
Ensure overall customer satisfaction during the manufacturing process.
Write details and any internal documentation required in support of orders correctly and in accordance with applicable procedures.
Review and interpret customer specifications and purchase documents to insure proper order processing.
Cultivate friendly, personal relationships with key customers, learning their needs and preferences.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers, field sales personnel, and other regarding orders, inquiries and other related activities.
Maintain close working relationships with field sales representatives to insure that they are well informed regarding their customers’ activity.
Respond to customers and field sales representatives with effective, timely oral and written communication.
Act as customers’ advocate, performing or coordinating any other related tasks to satisfy their needs.
Manages orders from booking to shipment
Customers point of contact during the manufacturing process
Provides monthly status of open orders and follows up with both customers and production
Maintains record of assets delivery progress and invoicing
Interacts with Production/ Buyer/ Planner for follow up of customer orders
Provides and maintains updated information to customers.
Direct Supervisor: Customer Service Manager
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years related experience and/or training).
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Valves & Measurement
Engineering B.S., MBA or Master's degree in other business, project management, or customer service field.
2+ years manufacturing or energy industry experience.
1-3 years project coordination/customer service experience.
Working knowledge of SAP or other manufacturing software.
